A scratchy Wednesday on a thin four-pick slate, settled one for two with a half-loss, minus 1.59u on the day. Three Tanzania Premier League fixtures and one Finland Kolmonen Länsi match made the cut after the country cap held the day to a single league for the bulk of it, and a key operator-level call on the KMC line proved to be the only thing standing between the slate and a substantially worse number.
Young Africans against Azam in Tanzania’s opening kickoff was a textbook case of how a heavy-favourite home fixture can swing the wrong way for the dog side. Azam came in priced at 5.60 to win, with the scanner picking the away plus 0.75 SPICY line on the pick_GC1- filter. The operator switched the line out to plus 1.5 on the Exchange because the plus 0.75 line had only 135 BRL matched against it, finding the plus 1.5 line at BF 1.67 with R$146 sitting at the front. Young Africans then won 3-0 outright, and the plus 1.5 line failed in exactly the same way the plus 0.75 would have. A clean structural loss.
The KMC against Namungo settlement is the day’s lesson. Scanner picked KMC at home plus 0.25 SPICY, pick_FTS3+ filter. Operator switched to plus 1.5 on liquidity reasoning, vastly deeper than the plus 0.25 line, and Betway happened to offer the equivalent EH plus 2 KMC home back at 1.91 retail, the best price on the slate. KMC then lost 2-3 to Namungo, losing by exactly one goal. The plus 1.5 line covers loss by one (won), the plus 0.25 line does not (loses fully). The operator switch was the difference between a 0.91 unit win and a 1.0 unit loss, a swing of 1.91u against the scanner’s line.
Singida Big Stars against Mashujaa, on the same Tanzania kickoff, was the third Tanzania pick. Pick was AH plus 0.25 split, BF direct take 1.61 at R$85, take over derived ratio 1.69 (genuinely favourable price). Singida lost 0-1 at home. Both the DNB and DC halves of the split fail on a lose-by-one outcome.
Finland’s Loiske and Fish United played out a 0-0 draw in the Kolmonen Länsi evening kickoff. Pick was AH minus 0.25, played as a split between Betway’s Draw No Bet home leg at 1.36 and Betway’s Match Winner home leg at 1.70. On a draw the DNB leg pushes (stake refunded) and the MW leg loses. Minus 0.500u recorded, which is exactly what a minus 0.25 line is supposed to do on a stalemate.
