A nervy Sunday at the cap where the cushion-line mechanics did most of the heavy lifting. The slate opened with a clean sweep at the top of the card. Ariana FC won 2-1 in Sweden Ettan Södra and the Betfair Exchange DNB at 1.35 paid out cleanly for +0.35u, the slate’s lead-off elite cell delivering on its 22.6% trail-24 ROI. Gimnasia Concepción del Uruguay edged Sportivo Belgrano 1-0 in the Argentine Torneo Federal A which paid the BetMGM Double Chance at 1.38 for +0.38u, and Sarmiento de La Banda’s 2-0 home win against Sol de América took the Betway DC 1X at 1.25 for +0.25u. The middle of the card was where the cushion mechanic showed its half-win shape. The Yamagata pick was the day’s asterisk — Oita won 1-0 in the Japan J2/J3 fixture which is exactly the result that pushes a whole-line AH +1.0 away. The Betfair Exchange take at 1.51 (the slate’s +139% positive-drift outlier where market was paying way above scanner derived) refunded stake for zero day impact. The drift signal was real, the cell was right that Yamagata would stay in touch, but the exact-loss-by-1 outcome on a whole-line means we recovered stake but no profit.
