June 2026: a green month in a quiet summer
June closed 4.83 units up from 174 picks, a return of 2.8 per cent, with 71 per cent of bets winning or getting the stake back. The running total finished the month at 449.3 units.
With the World Cup on and most of Europe's leagues off, the card lived in the summer leagues. The Faroe Islands, Iceland, Scandinavia, Kazakhstan, Argentina and Brazil did most of the work, and the average price was a modest 1.49.
Best day was Friday the 19th at plus 3.54. The biggest single winner was Al Salmiya on a plus half at 2.75. The Faroe Islands Premier League was the best league of the month and Argentina's Primera C wasn't far behind.
Not everything worked. The Swedish Superettan cost 3.27 units from eight picks and Kuwait finished slightly down across twelve. The whole goal lines did better than the quarter lines this month, which is unusual.
Nothing about the system changed during June. The bigger changes in May, a longer two year history for every system and a smaller pool of them, were left alone to bed in.
Into July, which is always the thinnest month of the year for fixtures.
