11 picks. Five won, two pushed, four lost. The two pushes are worth explaining, because they are the difference between a flat day and a bad one.

Forward carried the day. 1-0 against Nyköpings on a –0.5 handicap at 2.63, which was the top price on the whole board and the only selection above 2.10. One goal was all it needed and one goal was all it got. That is the bet this system is built to find: a home side the market had priced as a coin flip when the underlying numbers said otherwise.

Eidsvold won 4-1 giving a goal and a half, which is the kind of margin that makes a –1.5 line look easy in hindsight. It was not easy at 1-0 or 2-1. Junkeren stayed in it for an hour.

The two pushes. Paide beat Kuressaare 1-0 giving exactly one goal, and Trelleborg drew 2-2 on Draw No Bet. Both return the stake. Neither is a win and neither is a loss, and people sometimes read a push as a near miss — it is not. A –1.0 handicap that wins by exactly one is the line doing precisely what it is priced to do. Paide at 2.08 was the second-best price on the card and it came back whole. Frustrating to watch, neutral to the bank.

The three quarter-line bets split the day. B68 won 2-1 and Almirante Brown won 2-0, both clearing +0.25 in full. Temperley lost 1-2 and both halves of the bet went down — a one-goal defeat kills a +0.25 outright, there is no half-return at that line. All Boys drew 2-2 away at Deportivo Madryn carrying +1.25 and paid in full; a draw was never in danger with a start that size.

The losses. Arendal shipped three at Sotra and Eik Tønsberg lost a 4-3 shootout at Vidar — both were carrying half a goal and both needed to avoid defeat, and neither came close on the day. Levadia is the one that hurts: they needed to win by two at Pärnu Vaprus and drew 1-1, so a bet that looked routine at 1.42 returned nothing.

A word on the shape of a day like this. Five winners and four losers reads like a near-even day, and the bank barely moved — two thirds of a unit. But look at what the winners returned: 1.63, 0.57, 0.44, 0.365, 0.32. Four of the five paid less than two thirds of a unit each. Every loser costs a full one.

That asymmetry is the entire character of this portfolio and it is worth understanding if you are following along. We win most of our bets. We have to, because the prices are short. A day at 5-4 with two pushes is, in this system, a losing day — and a week of days like that will look far worse on the graph than it feels in the selections. It is why Forward at 2.63 mattered so much: one price above 2.00 does the work of four at 1.40.

Nothing in Sunday's card suggests a problem with the process. The two pushes were correctly priced lines landing on their exact number, and the four losses were sides that were simply beaten on the day. We keep going.
